Keith
Golin, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist in the states of New Jersey
and New York. He received his B.A. in Psychology from the University
of Delaware, a Master’s in Education at Temple University,
and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Combined Clinical and School Psychology
from Hofstra University.
Dr.
Golin has a broad range of experience in working with both adults
and children on many different kinds of psychological and behavioral
issues. He has worked in a variety of settings including community
mental health centers, nursing homes, group homes with the developmentally
disabled, as well as domestic violence and family homeless shelters.
Dr. Golin also developed a group psychotherapy program in an inpatient
psychiatric and MICA unit (patients with mental illness and drug
and alcohol addictions).
Dr.
Golin has specialized training in cognitive-behavior therapy,
behavior management, and relaxation strategies. He utilizes these
scientifically valid strategies in individual, couples, family,
and group modalities. In addition to being a practitioner, Dr.
Golin enjoys training other professionals in cognitive-behavioral
and behavior modification interventions.
Dr.
Golin is a member of the American Psychological Association, the
New Jersey Psychological Association, and RESOLVE which is a national
infertility association.
